Every summer, Discovery Center organizes a special Roasting hot dogs Summer Camp Program for kindergarten and pre-school children. The Parent and Toddler program is also available during the summer.

Activities are organized and led by Discovery Center teachers and their assistants with an emphasis on having fun! Activities include:

Music: singing, rhythm band, dance and movement

Art: painting, collage, crafts

Cooking: pizza, cookies, muffins, soup, noodles, popcorn

Language Development: finger plays, nursery rhymes, drama

Science: sound, light, magnets, simple machines

Special events: field trips, parties, cookouts, fishing

Computer: games and activities

We will run eight "1-week sessions" of summer camp in 2010 at both of our pre-school locations - in Cipete and Menteng:

The themes of summer camp 2010 are Water Wonderful (4 weeks) and Air Extraordinaire (4 weeks)

Cipete

Singing

Each session of summer camp runs for one week. Children attend Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to either 11:30 a.m. or 1pm. Limited spaces available for 3-days/week summer camp for children under 3.5 years

Age Requirements

Children should be between the ages of 2 to 7 years. Only 36 children are accepted per session: 24 in the 5 day/week program (all ages) and 12 in the 3 day/week program (under 3.5 years).

Generally, a few spaces are available on the first day of each session, but in order to guarantee a space for your child prepayment is recommended.
