2023 Summer Camp - Music & Musical Instruments -- Under the Sea -- June 5 - July 28

Every summer, Discovery Center organizes a special Summer Camp Program for kindergarten and pre-school children. The Parent and Toddler program is also available during the summer.

Discovery Center would like to invite your child to join our 30th Annual Summer Camp.  Summer camp can be joined on a weekly basis. Children from other schools are invited.  

Children will enjoy: Stories, Drama, Puppet Shows, Field Trips, Fancy Dress Parties, Paddling Pool, Cookouts, Games, Special Projects, Art projects, science, dance, music, and cooking will reflect the theme. Each week's theme is different.

Menteng Location:

Menteng children will be assigned to the campus where their child’s age is attending based on DATE of BIRTH. We apologize that we are not able to honor special requests from parents concerning the assigned Menteng campus for their child. We can move an older child to the younger campus, but we cannot assign a younger child to an older campus .

Fees for Term IV (Summer Camp)

Term IV: Summer Camp. Children may be enrolled from 1 to 8 weeks June 5to July 28, 2023

Fees per week:

For Children from 2 years to 7 years who attend 5 times per week (ALL Children ages 4.5 years and above attend 5 days per week)

• Rp 1,922,000 per week 5 times per week with an 11:30 dismissal
• Rp 1,982,000 per week 5 times per week with a 12:00 dismissal
• Rp 2,099,000 per week 5 times per week with a 1 pm dismissal.

For Children less than 4.5 years who attend 4 times per week:

• Rp 1,650,000 per week 4 times per week with an 11:30 dismissal
• Rp 1,704,000 per week 4 times per week with a 12:00 dismissal
• Rp 1,811,000 per week 4 times per week with a 1 pm dismissal.

For children less than 4.5 years who attend 3 times per week the fees are:

• Rp 1,383,000 per week 3 times per week with an 11:30 dismissal
• Rp 1,431,000 per week 3 times per week with a 12:00 dismissal
• Rp 1,528,000 per week 3 times per week with a 1:00 pm dismissal

Note: 5% Discount on all payment of weekly fee received by May 26, 2023!

New Student Registration Fee:

There is a one-time registration fee for children who are NEW to Discovery Center: Rp 500,000.  Children who have attended DC preschool or previous DC summer camp AND paid the registration fee are exempt from this fee. 

Summer camp differs from a regular term in some ways:

• Enrollment can be weekly.
• We have an overall theme for the entire school (during a regular term the theme is different for each age group.)
• Our activities take on more of a recreational theme, but the same skills taught in the regular term are being reinforced through both group and learning center time: social skills, language skills, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, creativity, logic, and cognition. 
• Our invoice for summer camp refers to these 8 weeks as “Term IV” because like Term I, Term II and Term III, the children will continue to grow and develop with activities planned to challenge them and stimulate their continued love of learning through discovery.
• In Menteng, Discovery Center will assign your child to a building/group according to DATE OF BIRTH.  We do not allow a child to join an older group/but on request can move your older child to a younger group if space allows. Usually for the last 2 weeks of summer camp in Menteng, both Cirebon and Garut groups are held at Jl.Cirebon 16. Menteng,
