For children 5 years old*

*by September 1 of the current school year

In this program, children are encouraged to build on their academic skills, working toward higher achievement through teacher-guided learning centers and group activities.

Key areas of growth:

  • Language and Reading: Literacy skills advance as children become more confident readers and begin working towards reading at a first-grade skill level.

  • Advanced Writing: Students graduate to writing complete sentences, practicing dictation, and learning foundational grammar and spelling rules.

  • Comprehensive Math: Mathematical thinking becomes more sophisticat ed as children master addition and subtraction basics, measurement, and early multiplication concepts.

  • Public Speaking: Communication skills continue developing through practice as children learn to speak confidently in front of a group of friends.

  • Discovery: Students investigate their world, exploring science and social science concepts like systems of the body, rocks and minerals, Indonesian studies, ecology, and animal classification.

  • Gross Motor Skills: Children become more interested in team sports - learning to play as a team and how to show good sportsmanship.
