Reception Group Program

For children ages 1.5 to almost 3 years old

This program stimulates children’s love of exploration and learning through learning centers and group activities, emphasizing language and social development.

Key areas of growth:

Building Independence: Children will learn to confidently navigate a new environment without their parents, taking major steps toward emotional regulation and adapting to basic daily routines.
Early Social Skills: Students begin transitioning into peer interactions, learning to share, take turns, and engage in parallel and imaginative play.
Language Spurt: To support this period of explosive language growth, we focus heavily on building oral language skills.
Basic Problem-Solving: Children are introduced to foundational thinking skills by learning to match, identify, and differentiate objects.
Motor Control: Children develop physical coordination, early grip and hand dexterity needed for everyday tasks.

Reception Plus

As children in reception class reach 3 years old, they will begin working with more academic materials to develop their numbers, language, and pencil skills.

Key areas of growth:

Early Literacy: We introduce reading fundamentals in an approachable way.
Fine Motor & Writing: Your child will start developing fine motor skills through hand control activities needed for future writing and everyday independence.
Cognitive Skills: We stimulate critical thinking as students learn to observe, categorize, and differentiate attributes like shapes, sizes, colors, and textures.
